CAMPEAU, Lucille (née Viau)

Paisiblement, entourée de sa famille aimante au Lancaster LTC le lundi 3 juillet 2023, à l'âge de 93 ans.

Chère épouse de feu Rémi Campeau. Mère bien-aimée de Denise (Brian), Denis (Louise) et Lucie (Steve). Fière grand-mère de Mélanie (Philippe), Stéphanie (Mathieu), France, Anne (Chris), Nathan, Brigitte (Dominique), Lindsay (Christian) et Chelsea (Kale); et arrière-grand-mère de Liam, Xavier et Jacob. Fille de feu Théodule et feu Aldina (née Léger) Viau. Prédécédée par ses frères Eldège, Henri, Aimé, et Gérard; et ses sœurs Marguerite, Alma, Cécile et Pauline (Guy Quesnel).  Lucille restera dans la mémoire de plusieurs nièces, neveux, cousins, voisins et amis.

Parents et amis sont priés de se rassembler au Salon Funéraire Glengarry, 580 rue Main sud, Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 le vendredi 14 juillet 2023 de 18h à 21h et le samedi 15 juillet 2023 de 9h00 à 10h30. Une messe funéraire chrétienne aura lieu à la paroisse Ste-Marguerite-d’Écosse de Glen Nevis le samedi 15 juillet 2023 à 11 h, suivie d'une inhumation au cimetière paroissial Ste-Marguerite-d’Écosse et d'une reception au centre communautaire de North Lancaster.

Sa famille tient à remercier les infirmières et les préposés aux services de soutien à la personne attentionnées de Lancaster LTC.

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at Lancaster LTC on Monday, July 3, 2023, at the age of 93.

Beloved wife of the late Rémi Campeau. Loving mother of Denise (Brian), Denis (Louise) and Lucie (Steve). Proud grandmother of Mélanie (Philippe), Stéphanie (Mathieu), France, Anne (Chris), Nathan, Brigitte (Dominique), Lindsay (Christian) and Chelsea (Kale); and great-grandmother of Liam, Xavier and Jacob. Daughter of the late Théodule and the late Aldina (née Léger) Viau. Predeceased by her brothers Eldège, Henri, Aimé, and Gérard; and her sisters Marguerite, Alma, Cécile and Pauline (Guy Quesnel). Lucille will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends.

Relatives and friends are asked to gather at the Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main Street South, Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Friday, July 14, 2023 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Margaret of Scotland Parish on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 11 a.m., followed by an interment at St. Margaret of Scotland Parish Cemetery and a reception at the North Lancaster Community Centre.

Her family would like to thank the caring nurses and PSW’s at Lancaster LTC.
