Nécrologie de Dr. Jennifer Eileen Harris

Peacefully, at home on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the age of 68. Beloved wife and best friend of Bryn Harris. Loving mother of William Harris and Stephanie Harris. Dear sister of Gillian and aunt of Rebecca and Geoffrey. Daughter of the late Edward and Edith (née Daines) Stallworthy. She will be dearly missed by her former students, colleagues, neighbours and friends. Jennifer overcame much and achieved much in her life. After having her family, she returned to university to obtain Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees in Philosophy. She was the Valedictorian for the Concordia University graduating class in 1987, delivering a powerful speech during the ceremony at Place Des Arts. For the past 15 years, she was a teacher at Dawson College in Montreal, where she was an inspiration to and well-loved by her students, many of whom have kept in touch with her after graduating. A Memorial Service will be held at Saint John’s Lutheran Church, 3594 rue Jeanne Mance (at rue Prince Arthur), Montreal, QC, H2X 2K3 on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 1:30 pm. To honour the joy and vibrancy that Jennifer brought to our lives, please wear your favourite vibrant colour to her Memorial Service.
