Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at The Ottawa Hospital – Civic Campus on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Faye Sage (née Capron). Loving father of Tim Sage (Sue Kingston), Brenda Heuston (Chris), Darlene McMillan (Marc), and Tammy Bisson (Bob MacLeod). Proud grandfather of Sophie (Jason), Cindy (Greg), Natalie, Amy (Scott), Amanda (Justin), Andrew, Adam, Matthew, and Gardner; and great grandfather of McKenzie, Khori, Ryleigh, Harlee, Bentley, Caleb, Hailey, Joshua, Christopher, Keegan, Graci, Elaina, Samuel, and Alex. Dear brother of Neil (late Vi), Irene (Ray), Jim (Marilyn), the late Bernard (late Shirley), Patrick (Juanita), Greg, Maureen (Dave), the late Charles, the late Ronnie, and Margaret. Son of the late Patrick and Georgina (née Robinson) Sage. Thomas will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Relatives and friends are requested to gather at the Salon Funéraire Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 9-11 am. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Glengarry Funeral Home on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 11 am. A reception will follow. A private family interment will be held at St. Alexander Parish Cemetery, Lochiel. As expressions of sympathy, Memorial Donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
