It is with great shock and sadness that I just learned of Lorne’s passing last year. Our friendship goes back more than 40 years. We worked together at Bell in the Dorval data center in and then for Telebec. We also worked together in New Jersey and Mexico for Avaya (Lucent). Most importantly, we travelled together for more than 15 years to Laconia N.H. for the Laconia Bike week. Some of those years our spouses also joined on these road trips. As well, Lorne’s wife; Barbara’s company was always enjoyed by all of us.
Lorne had a great sense of humor and was one of the most generous and kind hearted person that we have known. He was very knowledgeable in so many ways, always willing to help. My wife Diane and I will always cherish the memories we had together. Our condolences to Kim Stackhouse and family. Mike and Diane Cooper
