Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the age of 79. Son of the late Peter and Margaret (née MacDonald) McIntee. Beloved husband and best friend of Ruby McIntee (née Wylie). Adored father of Kimberly McIntee, Kelly McIntee (Colette) and Karen Nadeau (Stephan). Cherished Poppa of Kayla, Kyle and Kaleb McIntee; and Brennan and Lauren Nadeau. Much loved brother of Elizabeth McDonell (Barton) and the late Lawrence McIntee. Nephew of Rita MacDonald. Danny’s legacy to his family is his unconditional generosity and kind heart. He will be fondly remembered for his love of farming, interest in politics, and his mechanical talents. Danny will live on in the hearts of many for years to come. Relatives and friends are requested to gather for a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at St. Martin de Tours Church, Glen Robertson on Friday, June 26, 2015 at 11 am. A reception will follow at the Glengarry Funeral Home. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be welcomed by the family.
