Peacefully at Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Monday, April 5, 2021. Hubert Alexandre Lapierre of Alexandria at the age of 87. Beloved husband of 66 years to Joyce Lapierre (née Benoit). Loving father of Brian Lapierre (Michelle) and Wayne Lapierre. Proud grandfather of Dakotah, Paige and Julien Lapierre. Dear brother of the late Elmer Lapierre (late Rita), the late Nathalie Brunet (late Louis), the late Marie-Claire Ladouceur (late Léo), the late Jacqueline Lapierre, the late Wallace Lapierre (late Monique), the late Warner Lapierre, Iris Rochon (late Jean-Marie), the late Carole MacKay (Donald) and Louise Davies (late Leslie). Hubert will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his extended family, neighbours and friends for his skill as a woodworking artist and for his landscaping prowess. Due to COVID-19 restriction, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Église Sacré-Coeur, Alexandria.
