Nécrologie de Clara Lavinia Grace MacLeod (Olney)

Passed away peacefully, at Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital, on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at the age of 89.  Beloved wife of 63 years to the late Roderick “RD” MacLeod. Loving mother of Darrel MacLeod (Judy), Cheryl McBean (Billy) and Allan MacLeod (Andrea). Proud grandmother of Rory (Kierstian), Anna, Kayla (Kyle), Kenton (Sarah), Kieran, Tiffany, Stacey, Tyler, Brendan, Katie and Molly; and great grandmother of Lily, Claire, Callum, Rylan, Carson, Duncan, Caleb, Dominic, Ethan, Sadie and Annie. Predeceased by her parents J. Edwin and Duella (née Kimmerly) Olney; and her siblings Edwin (Lois), Elmer, Walter (Grace), Hilda (Roy), Kenneth (Marion), Jean (Cecil) and Ralph (Doreen).  She will be fondly remembered by her extended family, friends, neighbours and all whom she touched through her music.  Family and friends are requested to gather at the Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and on Monday from 9-10:30 am. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Columba Presbyterian Church, Kirk Hill on Monday, April 1, 2019 at 11 am. A reception will follow in the Reception Centre of the Glengarry Funeral Home.  In memory of Clara, donations to St. Columba Presbyterian Church or La Fondation de l’Hôpital Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
