Peacefully, at Cornwall Community Hospital – McConnell Site on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the age of 62.  Loving father of Martin Vaillancourt (Karen) and Anik Vaillancourt (Mario Gagnon).  Proud grandfather of Amy, Cassidy, William, Shelby and the late Nathaniel.  Cherished son of René and Jeanette (née Dubeau) Vaillancourt.  Dear brother of Denis Vaillancourt (Johanne Lalonde), Lise Ménard (Maurice), Carole Vaillancourt (Robert Louis-Jacques), Hélène Dupuis (Yvon) and Yvon Vaillancourt (Kim Gumbley).  Michel will be fondly remembered by his extended family, friends and neighbours.  Relatives and friends are requested to gather at the Salon Funéraire Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 9 – 11 am. A Liturgy of The Word will be celebrated in the Chapel on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 11:00 am.  Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
