Nécrologie de Emilie Lechleitner

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Emilie Lechleitner (née Schmid), who passed on February 11, 2026, at the age of 94. 

Beloved wife of the late Adolf Lechleitner.   

Loving mother of Gabriela Schmid (the late Robert Tanner), the late Jakob Lechleitner (Ruth), Wilhelm Lechleitner (Esther), Stefanie Buhler (Hans), and Reinhard Lechleitner (Kristen).  

Cherished grandmother of Deborah, David, Thomas, Rebecca, Sandra, Andrea, Ramona, Svenja, Martin, Bettina, Mattias, Daniel, Kiera, Samuel and Madison. 

Adored great-grandmother of 20. 

Dear sister of Elfriede Hehle and sister-in-law of Hilde Schmid. 

Emilie will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, and friends. 

Predeceased by her parents Otto and Stefanie (née Sprenger) Schmid, and her siblings, Gretel Schmid and Pius Schmid. 

Family and friends are invited to gather at Laurent Hill Funeral Home, 874 Notre Dame Street, Embrun, ON, on Thursday, February 19, 2026, for a visitation between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A Celebration of Emilie’s Life will be held in the Chapel at 1 p.m.  

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital Foundation or another charity of your choosing would be appreciated by the family. 

The family would like to thank all of the kind and professional health care workers from Bayshore, Choice Care and the Winchester District Memorial Hospital who provided compassionate care and support for Emilie and the family over the years.

Elle était l'épouse bien aimée de feu Adolf Lechleitner. 

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants; Gabriela Schmid (feu Robert Tanner), feu Jakob Lechleitner (Ruth), Wilhelm Lechleitner (Esther), Stefanie Buhler (Hans) et Reinhard Lechleitner (Kristen), ses petits-enfants; Deborah, David, Thomas, Rebecca, Sandra, Andrea, Ramona, Svenja, Martin, Bettina, Mattias, Daniel, Kiera, Samuel et Madison, ses 20 arrière-petits-enfants, sa sœur; Elfriede Hehle, sa belle-sœur; Hilde Schmid, ainsi que ses nièces, neveux et ami(e)s. 

Elle fut prédécédée par ses parents Otto et Stefanie (née Sprenger) Schmid, ainsi par sa sœur Gretel Schmid et son frère Pius Schmid. 

La famille et les amis sont invités à se rassembler au Salon Funéraires Laurent Hill, 874, rue Notre Dame, Embrun, ON, le jeudi 19 février 2026, de 11h à 13h. Une célébration de vie sera célébrée dans la Chapelle à 13h. 

Au lieu de fleurs, la famille apprécierait les dons à la Fondation de l'Hôpital commémoratif du district de Winchester ou à un autre organisme de bienfaisance de votre choix.
