He helped me a long time ago, 1996! I was hoping to reconnect. Im so very sorry to hear of his passing. I know he would have been happy and proud to see me today.

I remember the very first time I saw Dr. and Dr. David and Patricia Kaufman. It was right before we went on-stage for a Glen Production of the British farce, Run for Your Wife. I had the good fortune of performing in the show along with one of their sons, Shane. My immediate response to Shane's parents was, "What a fun couple!!" They had just arrived fresh off an Hawaiian adventure and were still wearing their leis. Their enthusiasm, zest for life and love for their off-spring was so heartfelt and genuine. Over the years, my admiration for them only grew. When I think of David, I think of a super husband, super dad, super smart, super therapist, super kind and super fun. Truly, Super Dave!! Although sadly no longer with us in the physical sense, he will always be carried close in our hearts as will the wisdom he shared so generously with us all.

I would like to express my sincere sympathy to Trish, Scott and Shane and all the family. David was our Chief Psychologist for many years in the S.D.&G Public Board of Education. As Special Education coordinator I saw first hand the countless students David assessed and counselled over the years, He also followed up by designing many individual programs for the teachers to implement. David also displayed the positive ability to to relate to parents and put them at ease. David was a very dynamic educator and provided many in-service presentations to staff across the system always with very positive feedback. David, thank you for your support and guidance to students and staff in our system. I am very sorry that I will not be able to attend the Celebration of Life on Saturday, Please be assured you are all in my thoughts and prayers. God Bless David

I will always remember how welcoming, funny and ready for fun David was. I envied his cooking skills and how he and Trish could dance together, so smoothly, as one being. There are moments when he really went out of his way to be kind to me. You will be missed, David.
