It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Suzanne Séguin (née Lavigne) at her home in Alexandria, while surrounded by her family, on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the age of 79.

Beloved wife and best friend of Maurice “Cyclone” Séguin.

Loving mother of Michel Séguin (Catherine) and Sylvie Cuerrier (Michel).

Proud grandmother of Ryan (Marisa), Melanie, Vanessa (Michael), Michelle (Sebas), Vanessa (Brock) and Alexandra; and great-grandmother of Lucas, Zoey, Miller, Myla, Maisyn, Harper, Jaxon and Remi.

Dear daughter of the late Lionel and the late Gilberte (née Charbonneau) Lavigne; and sister of Jacqueline (André), Marcel (Louise), the late Raymond, Claude (Linda), Claudette (Robert), Guy (Hélène), Luc (Claude), Monic (late Sylvie), Daniel (Linda) and Marc (Micheline).

Suzanne will be fondly remembered by her many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Family and friends may offer their condolences on Saturday, July 19, 2025 from 10:00 - 11:00 am at St. Finnan's Basilica, 70 St. Paul Street, Alexandria.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at St. Finnan's Basilica at 11:00 am, followed by a reception at the Fraternité Hall, 49 St. Paul Street, Alexandria.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hospice Cornwall would be appreciated by the family.

C'est avec une immense tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Mme Suzanne Séguin (née Lavigne) à sa maison d'Alexandria, entourée de sa famille, le jeudi 12 juin 2025, à l'âge de 79 ans.

Épouse bien-aimée et meilleure amie de Maurice « Cyclone » Séguin.

Mère bien-aimée de Michel Séguin (Catherine) et de Sylvie Cuerrier (Michel).

Fière grand-mère de Ryan (Marisa), Mélanie, Vanessa (Michael), Michelle (Sebas), Vanessa (Brock) et Alexandra; et arrière-grand-mère de Lucas, Zoey, Miller, Myla, Maisyn, Harper, Jaxon et Remi.

Chère fille de feu Lionel et de feu Gilberte (née Charbonneau) Lavigne; Elle était la sœur de Jacqueline (André), Marcel (Louise), feu Raymond, Claude (Linda), Claudette (Robert), Guy (Hélène), Luc (Claude), Monic (feu Sylvie), Daniel (Linda) et Marc (Micheline).

Suzanne laisse dans le deuil ses nombreux beaux-frères, belles-sœurs, nièces, neveux, cousins, cousines, voisins et amis.

La famille et les amis pourront présenter leurs condoléances le samedi 19 juillet 2025 de 10h  à 11h à la Basilique Saint-Finnan's, 70, rue Saint-Paul, Alexandria.  Une messe funéraire sera célébrée à la Basilique Saint-Finnan's à 11h, suivie d'une réception à la Salle Fraternité, 49, rue Saint-Paul, Alexandria.

Au lieu de fleurs, des dons à l'Hospice Cornwall seraient appréciés par la famille.
