Elizabeth, Rosalie and James Please accept My deepest condolences. I have only great memories from growing up being neighbors. I hope you all find courage and peace during this difficult time. God Bless!
So sorry to hear about Gordons passing. The whole family were great members of The Church On The Hill.
Condolences to Elizabeth, Rosalie and James. He will be dearly missed.
My deepest condolences sent to the Rice family. I was so saddened to learn of Gord's passing. I worked with Gord on the old Alexandria crew from 1970 to 1976. Gord always had a big smile on his face and in a very short time of knowing me, nicknamed me, Sonny Jim. Every morning as I walked in the door I would be greeted by Gord with the same big grin. He was a friend and a great colleague. Many years after Gord retired, I was passing through Alexandria and stopped at Tim Horton's. Walking in, I heard someone shout "Sonny Jim". There was Gord with that ear to ear smile. We renewed old memories. Gord will be truly missed by those that knew him. He was a true gentleman.
Rest in peace!

Our sincere condolences to Elizabeth and family. Gord was my trainer with Ontario Hydro during my apprenticeship in the early 80s. He was a strong man who was at home in the bush or up in the air. He put up with my 20 year old attitude while still keeping me safe. I have nothing but good memories working with him and thank him for not giving up on me.
